Paris Auto Show – 2009 VW Golf GTI

Another pre-Paris reveal that’s getting us revved up for the big event, we managed to get our hand on photos leaked from VW of their new 2009 VW Golf GTI.

Powered by Volkswagen’s new 4-cylinder turbo EA888 engine, new Golf GTI reportedly gets a 10 unit horsepower boost over the current GTI to 210-hp.

Sitting on the Mark VI Golf platform, VW claims that the new VW Golf GTI can accelerate from 0-60 mph in under 7 seconds while still retaining a 7.5L per 100 kilometer fuel average.
