Classic cars, period dress and a historic British location set the scene for Nissan to unveil its new 370Z Roadster alongside some of its most iconic predecessors.

At this weekend’s Goodwood Revival, the public will get its first change to get up close and personal with Nissan’s latest high performance, high value model. While it doesn’t go on sale in the UK until March next year, the tide of enthusiasm for the Roadster is growing as the 370Z coupe roars onto Britain’s roads.

In keeping with the West Sussex event’s historical theme, the 370Z Roadster will see the light of day in Britain for the first time alongside some of Nissan’s most recognisable performance models of the past. In addition to the 21st century crowd pulling power of the latest GT-R supercar, the legendary 240Z will provide an insight into the Z-car bloodline while the original Skyline – the KPGC10 – will also be on display.

With prices for the 370Z Roadster still to be announced, the latest addition to Nissan’s sporting family brings affordability to drivers looking for exhilarating open air driving. Power in the rear-wheel drive Roadster comes from a 3.7-litre V6 engine, with a tantalising high-revving soundtrack.

Audi e-Tron Concept

Although photos of the Audi e-tron concept leaked onto the internet days before its official debut at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show, Audi has managed to keep a tight lid on its technical details.

From a design standpoint, the e-tron looks like an R8 that has gone backwards through the concept-to-production process, receiving futuristic-looking headlights, taillights, and wheels on the outside and a spartan, futuristic cockpit featuring an LCD display in the middle of the gauge-cluster inside.

It’s not known exactly what kind of powertrain is inside. The absence of air intakes and exhaust pipes point toward it being a full electric, though there are rumors that it’s a hybrid similar to the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Concept.
