2011 Volkswagen Golf

One of our daring spy photographers just sent us over these photos of two Volkswagen development mules undergoing testing. The lack of camouflage shouldn’t be a surprise, as all the important changes are beneath the metal.

The white mule with the wide, black fenders wears a serial number with the letters MQB. This is the acronym for the next Golf platform, meaning modular querbaukasten. The first iteration of the new platform will underpin the next Audi A3.
