One Million BMW 1-Series Built, M1 On The Way? – Hot

BMW’s entry level 1-Series has been a huge hit since its debut in 2004. The 1-Series has been so popular that BMW recently built the one millionth car. The plant where most are built in Leipzig, Germany can build up to 700 cars a day, according to Motorauthority.

2010 BMW 135i

The 1-Series comes in two flavors in America. The entry level 128i starts at $29,150, meaning that you can just barely buy a BMW for under $30,000.

The sportier BMW 135i has a 3.0 liter twin-turbo inline six engine that makes 300-horsepower and gives the car a 0-60 time of 4.7 seconds.
