Porsche Panamera Drop-Top?

The Panamera platform is creating product opportunities for Porsche and parent company Volkswagen. Automotive News is reporting that one such variant of the performance sedan could be a two-door convertible.

Development head Wolfgang Duerheimer hinted to Automobilwoche the potential of the platform. “We have a broad range of 14 derivatives of the 911 that are very successful,” he said. “So it stands to reason we should diversify the lineup for the Panamera as well.”
