Honda towards Environmental Technology (Integrated Motor Assist)

Automotive industries are moving so fast from one space to another with new idea time to time. However, instead of new improved technology and of course more profits automotive company had to know their responsibilities towards environment. Why environment? It’s simply because we all are part of the environment. That’s the fact, and that’s the truth that we can never neglect. Without environmental awareness and fully understand what our responsibility towards environment health, we will face problems in future. As for now, I just read and found out that Honda are working towards improving our environmental implementing Environmental Technology (Integrated Motor Assist).Perhaps there is also other automotive companies effort taken with similar steps, but let me just share about this one ok? So, what actually this Integrated Motor Assist is all about? Environmental technology? Some of you my friends could be scratching your head unless you read about it earlier on some of Honda’s website.

Ok, let me get is short for you. Integrated Motor Assist is actually Honda’s hybrid car technology, which was introduced earlier on 1999 installed in Insight. Integrated Motor Assist is actually a unique system hybrid engine that actually combines implementation of VTEC LEV together with electric motor unit assist system. To make it simple, it is good for car and also good for the environment. It releases an extremely low CO2 emission to the air.

For the record, Honda J-VX Insight is the first of its kind electric vehicle uses IMA technology manufactured by Honda and also the first production vehicle featuring Honda’s Integrated Motor Assist system (IMA).Currently new Hybrid Insight ranked as the industry’s best-selling car among new vehicle registrations in Japan for the month of April 2009.New Insight also break the record, being the first hybrid model chosen as industry’s best selling vehicle in Japan. How cool is that?

When everyone talks about global warming, high temperature, environmental issues, Honda already planned their steps and projects. They are really committed towards environmental through their environmental technologies. For instance take a look on 2003 where Honda had develops the world’s first Electronically Controlled Fuel Injection System for a 4-Stroke 50cc Scooter. I think that is what we called continuous efforts. Honda had evolved and expands in a great shape for the sake of our environment. It is great if all automotive companies can work together towards technologies that implement environmental friendly concept.
