Citroen Revolte Concept

Packing design cues from the legendary 2CV and a plug-in hybrid drivetrain, Citroen’s ‘city car of the future’ caused quite a stir at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

With suicide-style doors and a wacky interior with super-thin bench seats, computer screens and a vast steering wheel, its interior is just as adventurous as its exterior.

Under the skin, the Revolte uses a similar set-up to the Vauxhall Ampera, with a small internal combustion engine that assists some powerful electric motors.
