You know that Toyota iQ your cousin’s seen running around Europe and Japan? It’s making its way Stateside, first to next week’s Detroit Auto Show, then to a Scion dealer near you as a hybrid. This is according to a scoop by Inside line. We’ve known for a while now that the iQ will be showing up as a Scion, just not for certain as a hybrid.

Scion’ is a marque of vehicles produced by Toyota Motor Corporation founded in 2002 for the North American market.

A selection of three new head units are available on all Scions 2008. All sound systems feature six speakers and the standard iPod connectivity. The base unit has MP3, WMA, and AAC CD compatibility and Scion’s SSP equalizer presets.

The Premium head unit features a small LCD can display images and movies downloaded from Pioneer’s website, in addition to the features of the base unit. A navigation system is also available.
