1/24 Maisto Audi R8

Priced at RM49.90 and is readily available at most departmental stores. Not bad at all for that price. Interior details is good for this price range, but the wheels could have been better. Available colors are white with black sideblades and light blue with silver sideblades. A red with black sideblades would look good too. And one problem with Maisto is that their engines are not as 3D as bBurago’s , but I guess it’s a fair trade off for better wheels when compared to bBurago’s. Enjoy the pictures.

The rear end. The 1/18 version’s rear spoiler can be popped up.


The front view. Also very well done. For a sub RM50 car, that is.
The interior shot. Notice that even the pedals were painted silver.

The R8 logo on the ledge. Small touches goes a long way.
The only letdown. The engine sure does look good, but it is only semi 3D. But I am not complaining.
The wheels do look good, but I guess it can still be improved. Maybe on the R8 V10?
